二、Brand Filter Press Cloth
Our state-of-the-art laboratory staff can assist in the specification of your filter cloth. Because there are different types of cloth weaves and materials, we want to ensure the correct cloth is specified for your application.
Your filter cloth specification will depend on the size of your press and the dewatering application it’s being used in.
For example, a battery recycling plant will utilize a different sized filter cloth and filter press than a municipal power plant whose application is separating sulfur dioxide from their slurry.

三、Customized Filter Press Cloths
Filter press cloths are available in a variety of materials form the standard oxford weave to the quick-release, mono-multifilament.
The fabric that is most commonly used is polypropylene. However, polyester is also available.
For non-gasketed cloths, we can provide latex edging which provides a better seal and therefore, less leakage when the press is in operation.
We have the capability to manufacturer replacement cloths for all filter press and plate manufacturers.

Custom Filter Press Cloth Fabrics

Synthetic fabrics chosen are carefully considered and specifically applied based on factors such as their chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, cake release, flow rates, and resistance to blinding.
Polypropylene
Widely used, Polypropylene is suitable for resistance against chemicals and substances across the pH scale as well as maximum temperature resistance of up to 185 degrees Fahrenheit.
Polyester
Polyester is ideal for resistance against low pH, acid wash, as well as high-temperature resistance of up to 285 degrees Fahrenheit.
Nylon
Nylon offers the best available cake release properties and boasts the best resistance against abrasion and high pH.

Filter press cloth designs can feature all monofilament, mono/multifilament, multi/monofilament, or all multifilament yarns depending on your unique needs. Certain applications may also take advantage of “Spun” filaments when filtrate clarity is of the utmost importance. Weave pattern is also a critical design element of a customer filter press cloth. The most common weave patterns are Plain, Twill, and Sateen.
Plain Weave
Plain weaves are used in a variety of situations and feature strong particle retention.
Twill Weave
When an application requires the best mechanical strength, wear, and stretch resistance, as well as good cake release and blinding resistance, a Twill weave is often the best choice. The 3 x 1 Broken Twill is a popular upgrade further enhancing performance.
Rain Weave
In most filtration applications today, the Sateen Weave is utilized for ultimate performance, yielding excellent cake release as well as resistance to blinding.
